Resumed session of the 59th meeting of the Standing Committee

The Secretariat of the Convention on Wetlands has the honour to inform you that the resumed session of the 59th meeting of the Convention’s Standing Committee (SC59) will take place in Gland, Switzerland, from 24 to 27 May 2022 at the headquarters of the Convention Secretariat in Gland, Switzerland.
In accordance with Rules 6 and 7 of the Rules of Procedure for meetings of the Conference of the Parties, the meeting is open to organizations and agencies, whether governmental or non-governmental, qualified in fields relating to the conservation and sustainable use of wetlands, which have informed the Secretariat of their wish to be represented at the meeting, and which are approved as observers by the Conference of the Parties. We are pleased to invite your organization to participate in this meeting in an observer capacity.
We invite you to preregister your organization representative at the following address, no later than 25 April 2022: https://contacts.ramsar.org/register-rsc59
Please note that for preregistration an official nomination letter signed by the Head of the Organization must be uploaded indicating the names of the representatives.
Once you have successfully completed the form you will receive a confirmation that your data has been transmitted to the Secretariat for verification. Once your preregistration is confirmed, an email including all the details relating to the meeting will be sent to your attention.
