Please find attached Diplomatic Note 2021/10 informing the Permanent Missions and Administrative Authorities of the Contracting Parties to the Convention that the General Assembly, in its 75th session of 30 August 2021, adopted the Resolution on World Wetlands Day. The Resolution was co-sponsored by 75 Member States and can be found in the six official languages of the United Nations at the following address: https://undocs.org/en/A/75/L.125.

The Secretariat is bringing the present Resolution to the attention of all Member States, the organizations of the United Nations system and other relevant stakeholders, including civil society organizations, academia and the private sector, for appropriate observance.
