Reminder resumed session of the 59th meeting of the Standing Committee

To Heads of Administrative Authorities, National Focal Points and the Permanent Missions of all Contracting Parties of the Convention on Wetlands
The Secretariat would like to remind Contracting Parties that the resumed session of the 59th meeting of the Standing Committee will take place from 24 to 27 May 2022 at the headquarters of the Convention Secretariat in Gland, Switzerland as was communicated in Diplomatic Note 2021/15 (see attached).
Preregistration for the resumed session of SC59
The Secretariat requests that members of the Standing Committee and Contracting Parties wishing to attend the meeting complete preregistration in the online preregistration system accessible at: https://contacts.ramsar.org/register-rsc59.
Arrangements for streaming of the resumed session of SC59
The Executive Team instructed the Secretariat to organize the streaming of plenary sessions to allow Contracting Parties that are not members of the Standing Committee to join the meeting in a viewer-only option. Contracting Parties may consider sending statements through their Standing Committee regional representatives or Permanent Missions in Geneva.
