Consultation on the future operations of the CEPA Oversight Panel

Resolution XIV.8 on The new CEPA approach “Instructs the Secretariat, in collaboration with the CEPA Oversight Panel, and in consultation with Parties, to prepare for SC63 a proposal on the future operations of the Oversight Panel to support the new approach, including the nomination procedure, using the terms of reference contained in Annex 3 [of the same Resolution] as general guidance”.
The Secretariat would like to invite Contracting Parties to express interest in participating in the consultation process for the preparation of a proposal on the future operations of the CEPA Oversight Panel. Interested Parties will be asked to review the draft proposal prepared by the Secretariat and the CEPA Oversight Panel and meet virtually in January to discuss the proposal and provide comments.
Contracting Parties are requested to express their interest by email to secretariat@ramsar.org no later than 15 December 2023.
