Swedish proposal for amending the Rules of Procedure

During the 64th meeting of the Standing Committee, under agenda item 32 “Any other business”, Sweden expressed its interest in amending the Rules of Procedure of the Convention on Wetlands, in accordance with Rule 52. Following discussion, the Standing Committee instructed the Secretariat to publish Sweden’s proposal on amending the Rules of Procedure as an information document and to notify all Contracting Parties inviting comments.
 
Sweden invites Parties to send inputs on suggested amendments to improve the proposal to the National Focal Point (NFP) of Sweden Jenny.Lonnstad@naturvardsverket.se, with the Secretariat in copy at sc@ramsar.org, by 1 March 2025.
