Status of assessed contributions to the Convention on Wetlands, 30 September 2025

The Secretariat of the Convention on Wetlands has published the monthly Status of Assessed Contributions, as of 30 September 2025, on the Convention website at: https://www.ramsar.org/document/convention-wetlands-monthly-status-assessed-contributions.
The status of contributions is published at the same web address on a monthly basis.
Diplomatic Note 2025/1 on annual contributions along with invoices for 2025 was sent to all Contracting Parties, together with updated statements of contributions, via diplomatic channels by post on 10 January 2025.
The Secretariat would like to draw to the attention of Contracting Parties Decision SC58-15, in which the Standing Committee invited the Parties with outstanding contributions to agree on a payment plan in discussion with the Secretariat.
During COP15, members of the Finance Committee and many Contracting Parties expressed concern over the continued increase of longstanding outstanding contributions to the Convention’s budget, as noted in Resolution XV.1 on Financial and budgetary matters. Paragraph 17 of the Resolution URGES Contracting Parties with outstanding contributions to make a renewed effort to settle them as expeditiously as possible to enhance the financial sustainability of the Convention through contributions by all Contracting Parties.
